Insurance for virtual psychiatry in Massachusetts

When you book, enter the details from your insurance card. We check your behavioral health benefits before your first visit and contact you if anything needs attention. We bill your insurance directly. If your plan has a deductible you have not met, your cost per visit may be higher until you meet it, and we tell you that before your visit.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts for psychiatric evaluations and medication management by video.

UnitedHealthcare and Optum

We are in-network with UnitedHealthcare commercial HMO, PPO, POS, and EPO plans in Massachusetts. Optum manages mental health benefits for most UnitedHealthcare plans, so your card may list Optum or a separate behavioral health phone number. Either way, we are in-network.

Aetna

We are in-network with Aetna commercial HMO, PPO, POS, and EPO plans in Massachusetts for psychiatric evaluations and medication management by video.

Cigna

We are in-network with Cigna commercial HMO, PPO, POS, and EPO plans in Massachusetts. Cigna’s behavioral health benefits run through Evernorth Behavioral Health, so you may see that name on your card or benefits summary.

Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts Health Plan

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan are both part of Point32Health, and we are in-network with both for commercial HMO, PPO, POS, and EPO plans.

Plans we do not accept

We do not accept Medicare, including Medicare Advantage plans, or Medicaid, including MassHealth. If we are not in-network with your plan, we offer a flat self-pay rate for evaluations and follow-up visits. Call 617-657-2947 for current pricing before you book.

Does Form Psychiatry take my insurance?

We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, Aetna, Cigna, and Harvard Pilgrim/Tufts. Enter your plan when you book and we confirm your coverage before your first visit.

How much will I pay?

Most patients pay only their copay, typically $0 to $30 per visit. If you have a deductible you haven’t met, you may owe more, and we tell you before your visit.

What if my insurance changes?

Update your plan in the patient portal, or call or text 617-657-2947, before your next visit so we can re-verify.

Are forms and letters covered?

No. Return-to-work letters, leave paperwork, and accommodation forms carry an administrative fee that insurance does not cover.
